Planning-gain Supplement

The New Housing Act is likely to become law very shortly and this includes a form of planning gain supplement and many other clauses that will eventually have an impact on the market for housing land and even new houses themselves. The very poor housing market means that the impact will be very limited for the time-being and all the other Government measures to promote development will work against this to the advantage of the developer sufficiently brave or competent to enter the market.
